my current personal statement

Ritual is powerful and so are our words. Something I often help my clients to do is to help them write a personal statement to focus and ground themselves in their growth. This is how we do it.

  1. WRITE | What are your biggest challenges in your life are right now. The things you consistently struggle with and find yourself thinking about.

    Examples of struggles:
    - I feel anxious and it’s hard for me to feel like myself and make decisions because of my anxiety.
    - I want to be a mother and haven’t gotten pregnant.
    - Money is always a struggle.

  2. SOLVE | Now write an identity statement that would solve your struggle. The solution is to be focused on you, not pointing outward. Use a short sentence for each struggle that starts with “I”.
